Make yourself at home in our cozy 832 sqft, 2 BD, 1 BA home. This beautifully remodeled home was built in the 1940's. It is fully equipped with modern amenities but still has its original charm. Located just 3/4 mile from historic Leclaire, you are just minutes away from great dining options, unique shopping opportunities, and live music at a local brewery, winery, or distillery. The Leclaire area is also convenient for Mississippi River access for those fishing enthusiasts!
About this Space-
Living room:
A large smart TV is available to sign into any of your favorite streaming services. Hulu and DisneyPlus are provided.
Kitchen:
Use the fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove, oven, and microwave. Basic cooking essentials are provided (oil, salt, pepper, basic seasonings/spices). Appliances include: toaster, coffee maker, blender, pizzazz, and crockpot. Coffee, creamer, sweetner, and a variety of teas are also provided.
Bedrooms:
There are two bedrooms with a queen mattress in each room (linens, pillows, and extra blankets are provided).
Bathroom:
A full bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms. In the winter months, enjoy the heated marble floor!!
Basement:
A washer and dryer are available for use in the basement. There is also a queen sized sleeper futon that can accommodate 1 more guest. Note: while the basement is clean, it is unfinished.
You will have access to the entire property. This includes a three-season front porch with river views, an outdoor fire pit in the back yard (firewood provided), and a charcoal grill (charcoal, lighter fluid, and utensils provided).
1. Please keep in mind that trains do pass through periodically. The tracks are located across the street and some conductors are more thoughtful than others. A majority of the time the trains go unnoticed and are enjoyable, but if they become bothersome ear plugs are provided if needed for restful sleeping at night.
2. The driveway has a slight incline and is narrow. Please take caution. This will be maintained in the winter months. There is a wide shoulder you can utilize for pulling in and out.
3. If you are towing a boat, please contact me ahead of time for convenient ways to park/store your boat.
