Summary: We booked a standard double-queen room and discovered visible blood on the sheets when getting into bed. This was extremely concerning, especially since I was traveling with my children. The room was clearly not properly inspected before being assigned. We were moved to another room, which I appreciated, but the overall handling afterward was disappointing. Despite this being a sanitation and health issue, the compensation offered was minimal and did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and finding blood on hotel linens is unacceptable. While staff were polite, the resolution felt dismissive rather than guest-focused. I would recommend the property review housekeeping and service-recovery procedures to ensure situations like this are handled more appropriately in the future.
