1.We know what it's like to have dogs that are part of the family, so we welcome well-behaved, fully housebroken dogs (limit 2). All dogs must be supervised at all times or in a crate if home alone. Please respect our home by keeping the dogs off of thefurniture, inside and outside. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up any pet waste.There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250. No cats please.Trained service animals are welcome! Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy. We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance, as they fill up fast!
2. The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system. This system is a finely balanced biological system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
3. Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves. Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).
4. Culverts & Bridges: Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts. Appearances can be deceiving!
